Mission U-Too started in 2006 as a ministry to help take care of the community and share the love of Christ. By 2009 Mission U-Too began meeting weekly in two different cities, reaching both of those communities physically and spiritually. God continues to expand our reach in communities through amazing staff, volunteers, and the great people we reach in all of these communities!
gather and serve
That’s over 62,000 meals every year.
Plus, the thousands more meals we serve when responding to disasters.
Mission U-Too ministry is simply to feed people. Christ called us to meet our neighbor’s physical needs by providing a meal for them each week. Even more, He called us to share the love and message of Christ.
For us, the burger is just the tool to open the door to share the gospel of Jesus.
Our desire is that one day we will have a Mission U-Too team in every town across the country (and hopefully across the world!). That we would be able to reach out and provide food, music, and the message of Christ in these communities every week.
WHO WE ARE
Jonah has been leading the vision of Mission U-Too to grow on a national scale by feeding people physically and spiritually in every town across the country since 2011. He is gifted with a number of talents and is driven to use those gifts in leading people down a path of being disciples of Christ, living a life of being on mission for Jesus. When he isn’t working on Mission U-Too you will find him hanging out with his wife and two teenage kids, or serving their church and community. If you don’t find him there he might be skiing behind a boat or down the Rockies.
Jason helps to propel the vision of feeding people physically and spiritually as well as implementing systems that allow the ministry to reach people on the streets and those that wish to partner with Mission U-Too. He began working with Mission U-Too in 2007 and has since been helping to spread Mission U-Too. Jason spends most of his time with his wife and two girls as well as traveling and playing music.
Shannon helps us communicate who we are through our website, design, and fundraising strategy. She started volunteering with Mission U-Too in 2011, and has been helping shape our brand and grow our organization ever since. When she isn’t working with Mission U-Too you can find her tending to her veggie garden, working with her husband remodeling their 1945 home, and going on adventures with their daughter and favorite pup.
Donor Relations & Administrative Assistant
Christine helps with bookkeeping, administrative duties, donor relations, and grant writer. She started volunteering with Mission U-Too in 2012 with a desire to love people where they’re at, to see relationships built with donors and to connect them with the mission and vision of Mission U-Too. When she isn’t working with Mission U-Too you can find her spending time with her husband and three children, reading a book or enjoying the quietness of the outdoors.
Volunteer Program Manager
Christy spends time capturing stories, updating social media, blogging and pouring into the lives of those she serves at Mission U-Too, including volunteers. She has been volunteering with Mission U-Too since 2011, alongside her husband, Jonah. When she’s not working she enjoys the outdoors with her two dogs, spending time with her husband and two kids, traveling, beaches, homeschooling and sunny days.
Bastrop Area Program Coordinator
Jace oversees the Bastrop County area which currently consists of five sites. He started volunteering in 2015 and ran the Gidding’s site. When he isn‘t working with Mission U-Too he is out exploring God’s creation with his wife, either kayaking, hiking, or camping.

Brandon oversees the Denton area site locations and leads the Justin, TX site. He is passionate about Mission U-Too’s vision and has been volunteering since 2016. Christ gripped his heart in 2002, brought him a wonderful wife in 2006, and now they are raising a handful of growing kids.
